After watching the decline in an effective, affordable publication for the Canadian Dog Fancy to feature and promote their dogs, Raymond Yurick and Yvonne Norton decided to launch Canadian Dog Digest Magazine.

Both having grown up in the sport of purebred dogs, they have incredible insight as to what ‘dog people’ really want from a publication. Quality, affordability, informative and exceptional coverage!

Raymond Yurick, publisher, is a man with a vision – a distinct vision. Having had a successful career as both a Professional Handler and Breeder, Raymond understands that the Canadian dog show scene lacks a quality piece to showcase and highlight their achievements. Raymond’s fundamental goal is to create “A visual cornucopia for the readers”, not just in the advertisements, but in the complimentary editorial pieces as well.

Yvonne Norton, Managing Editor, has always felt there was a need for a publication that Canadians could once again, READ, not just flip through their pages and look at pictures. With her inquisitive nature, Yvonne searches for topics and features that best relate to their target market. The results have been “High praise from all the different panoramic groups within the dog community”.
